Engage Talent Partners is partnering with our client to recruit a temporary Accounts Coordinator on a 12-month contract, based in Aberdeen.
Our oil and gas client is an established company experiencing exceptional growth, making it an exciting time to join the team. Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will carry out daily accounting tasks that provide essential support to the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with Year End Audit as required.
- Perform monthly stock reconciliations to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Maintain and post cost of sales journals for financial accuracy.
- Review and report on gross margins, highlighting variances and trends.
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts to support financial planning.
- Conduct bank reconciliations in both GBP and USD.
- Provide monthly reporting on NCR costs to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure all financial documents are accurately filed electronically in a timely manner.
- Meet month-end deadlines by completing all transactions and reconciliations.
- Provide ad hoc support for Purchase and Sales Ledgers, covering for holidays or absences.
- Assist with incoming accounts queries from internal and external contacts.
- Support year-end audits as required, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant finance qualification and have previous experience in a similar finance role. The successful candidate will have experience working with different currencies, ability to multi-task and work to strict deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
