Engage Talent Partners are working on another exclusive project to recruit a Business Development Manager for our Aberdeen based client.
Our client is well-known in their field and have enjoyed huge growth over the last few years giving them Scotland wide coverage.
This new position will focus on the Northeast of Scotland area with a particular focus on Aberdeen. You will be responsible for supporting company growth by developing new customer relationships and growing revenues. Your previous business development experience will include sourcing new leads by cold calling, referrals and via networking groups.
Key responsibilities:
- Experienced in achieving sales targets in a B2B sales environment.
- Effective account management, ensuring relationships are maintained, targets are achieved, and opportunities are maximised.
- Whilst you will have full support from the senior management team you will need to be a proactive self-starter and comfortable sourcing and following up on new leads.
- Ability to close loop, self-create pipeline, gain quote opportunity and close sales.
- Surveying of sites and preparing of quotes.
- Able to successfully negotiate and influence.
- Ability to work alone on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to organise workload, be self-motivated to ensure deadlines are achieved.
Our client is looking for a sales professional who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and driven with excellent communication skills and able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary up to £35k plus company car and uncapped bonus potential. An on-target performance will be c£20k - £25k bonus. You will enjoy full support from senior management, flexible working hours as well as a fun and enjoyable working environment.
