Engage Talent Partners are working on a project to recruit a Contracts & Supply Chain Administrator for our client who are an established drilling contractor. This is a contract role for maternity cover and will be paid on a PAYE basis.
The Contracts & Supply Chain Administrator will be responsible for the development, maintenance and administration of the contract management process, including management of the vendor portal, maintaining the contracts database and all contract reviews and amendments.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitoring legal and contractual compliance.
- Preparing, issuing and completing contract amendments.
- Reviewing, clarifying, preparing and advising on contractual agreements.
- Monitoring legal and contractual compliance.
- Due diligence reviews and support in accordance with company and contractual agreements.
- Awareness of industry and regulatory changes that may impact operations and ensuring that appropriate action is taken to protect the Company’s interests.
- General administrative support to the Supply Chain Manager and Strategic Sourcing Lead.
- Assist in the co-ordination of supplier meetings and ensure an accurate minute of the meeting is taken and provided in a timely manner.
- Assist with the tendering process.
- Assist with the Quality Management process, through auditing Suppliers and NCR follow-up.
- Ensure that adequate procedures and processes exist to support departmental needs and that these are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Support the Marketing department with the review and submission of tender documents, as appropriate.
- Assist Logistics with support collating Inventory data as and when required.
The ideal candidate will have strong administration and multi-tasking abilities as well as excellent attention to detail and great interpersonal skills. Previous experience working on vendor or supplier contracts within oil and gas, knowledge of procurement and supplier management processes are an advantage.
The successful candidate will receive an excellent day rate as well as the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis.
