Engage Talent Partners are supporting an Aberdeen-based engineering organisation in the search for an Electronics/Equipment Technician to join their growing technical team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a hands-on workshop environment supporting specialist equipment used across offshore, marine and renewable energy projects. The company is continuing to expand and offers strong long-term career progression within a supportive technical team.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, testing and maintaining equipment to ensure it is fully operational and ready for mobilisation to client projects worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and function testing equipment prior to mobilisation and on return from hire
- Carrying out inspections and recording equipment condition
- Supporting software and firmware updates where required
- Identifying faults and assisting with repair activities
- Assisting with mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment
- Ensuring assets are prepared and available for short-notice deployment
- Supporting general workshop and logistics activities as required
We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience working with electronic, instrumentation or subsea equipment within a workshop, service or test environment. Experience gained within offshore technology, defence, manufacturing or specialist engineering environments would also be considered relevant.
