Engage Talent Partners are exclusively supporting our client to recruit a Finance Assistant based in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen.
Working with the Finance team lead, you will be responsible for processing a high volume of sales and purchasing invoices, meeting month end deadlines as well as a range of other accounting activities.
Key responsibilities:
• Registering and processing high volume of sales & purchase invoices including foreign currency
• Meeting month end deadlines
• Manage and resolve invoice queries (both internally & externally)
• Manage various internal email boxes
• Maintain a tidy ledger ensuring all payments are allocated and queries resolved
• Pro-Forma payment processing in line with business requirements
• Actively strive to meet and exceed KPI metrics
• Ad-Hoc finance/admin duties as directed by management
• Maintain good communication with internal and external clients
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and development of the company’s systems and processes
• Adhere to the company confidentiality policy as set out in the contract of employment, with particular emphasis on non-divulgence of sensitive financial information to anyone outside the finance/admin department
• Management of CRM software between internal & external resources
• Reviewing processes & procedures to find ways to continually improve the department
Applicants should have previous experience as an account assistant and be well versed in purchase & sales ledger. You will also be competent using finance software and able to work in a busy work environment.
The ideal candidate will also have good interpersonal skills, be organised in order to meet deadlines and have a strong-willed personality in order to add value.
