Engage Talent Partners are supporting our client to recruit for a Graduate Fire and Safety Engineer to join the company's electrical team based in Aberdeen.

Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, instrumentation and hazardous area equipment.
- Support the production of technical documentation such as electrical schematics, cable schedules, load calculations and system specifications.
- Contribute to electrical design calculations, including load analysis, short circuit studies and protection coordinator.
- Support the development and maintenance of company electrical standards, design procedures and best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, efficiency and safety.
- Contribute ideas for development and optimisation of new and existing electrical systems and products.
- Support proposal and project engineering activities, ensuring tasks are delivered within tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, process, and manufacturing) to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Provide technical input during the preparation of project proposals and tender submissions.
- Liase with the workshop and engineering management team regarding the assembly, installation, and testing of electrical systems and control panels.
Applicants must have a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline and have a knowledge in utilising design software, carrying out calculations and analysis.
