Engage talent partners are working with our Aberdeen based client to source a Group HSE Manager.
Our client is a leading provider in their field, delivering services to the renewables, marine and oil and gas sectors. This is an exciting time to join the company as they continue to expand.
In this role you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continually improving the companies Health, Safety & Environmental management systems and support the global team to ensure safe operations across onshore and offshore environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of the companies HSE strategy, policies and objectives.
- Promote proactive risk management and continuous improvement in all HSE matters.
- Support and mentor HSE Representatives across the business.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant UK, EU and International HSE regulations (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001)
- Manage and support external audits, certifications and inspections.
- Lead risk assessments, HAZID/HAZOP studies and operational safety issues.
- Oversee incident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented
- Support offshore personnel, engineering teams, and workshop operations to ensure safe work
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors.
- Oversee environmental risk assessments, waste management, spill prevention, and sustainability initiatives
- Prepare environmental reports and maintain effective communication with regulatory bodies ensuring timely submissions and proactive management of compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH certification, IOSH Chartership and have excellent communications skills. Experience managing multiple sites or global sites would be advantageous.
