Engage Talent Partners are working with our client to hire a motivated and proactive Junior ROV Technician based in Aberdeen.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior ROV Technician to support the preparation, maintenance and testing of subsea mechanical tooling and associated equipment. You will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, servicing and fault-finding tools. Based in Aberdeen UK, the position may require occasional regional travel and offshore support.
Responsibilities:
- Service reports, inspection records, and equipment documentation.
- Commission new ROV tooling
- Prepare and test ROV equipment returning form hire
- Repair ROVs
- Technical support to clients
- Complete client invoice records
- Attend offshore training and undergo an offshore medical
- Attend mobilisations and site interface testing
- Maintain the stock control system used for spares and consumables
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a qualification in Mechanical Engineering or other applicable technical discipline. A solid understanding of hydraulics/mechanics and ability to read schematics would be desirable.
