Engage Talent Partners are working exclusively with our client to source and recruit a Project Coordinator based in Aberdeen.
The company operates in Oil & Gas, Renewables and Defence sectors and you would be joining them at a very exciting time. The business has enjoyed a successful year to date with some prominent contract wins and has ambitious plans to grow further in the upcoming years.
You will be responsible for providing support to the project engineering team and duties will include coordinating, scheduling, and tracking project activities, communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the business and ensuring that project timelines, resources, testing and deliveries are met. Other responsibilities include maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting, enabling successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, production, procurement, etc) and external stakeholders (e.g third party inspectors) to ensure projects run to the required schedule.
- Assist with procurement activities by tracking orders, ensuring timely delivery of materials per the schedule.
- Ensure all materials are ready and available for testing purposes.
- Identify and report potential risks or issues to the Project Engineers.
- Track and document any project deviations or issues, escalating them as necessary to ensure swift resolution.
- Prepare and update project status reports, meeting minutes, and other required documentation, ensuring accurate and timely distribution to stakeholders.
- Attend project meetings, capturing key action points and ensuring they are followed up and completed on time.
- Act as a point of contact for the project team, facilitating clear communication between all involved stakeholders where necessary.
The ideal candidate will be educated to HNC/HND level, ideally in a relevant field such as engineering, project management, business or manufacturing. You will have some previous experience in a similar role and good knowledge around project documentation, scheduling, and working with multidisciplinary teams.
