Engage Talent Partners are supporting our client to recruit a QHSE Advisor for an ever-growing company based in Aberdeen.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s operations comply with relevant quality, health, safety, and environmental regulation and standards. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining QHSE management systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct regular internal audits and site inspections to identify potential hazards, non-compliance issues, and areas for improvement. Implementing corrective actions where necessary
- Perform regular risk assessments to identify hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
- Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, or near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance QHSE performance and implementing best practices.
- Assist with creating/updating company policies and procedures to ensure adherence to QHSE standards.
Applicants should have a NEBOSH certificate, a good understanding of UK QHSE legislation and standards and relevant work experience.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication and have the ability to work autonomously.
