Engage Talent Partners are working exclusively with our client to source and recruit a QHSE Manager, based in Aberdeen.
Our client is a leading organisation within their industry, operating across the oil and gas, renewables, defence, and nuclear sectors. The successful candidate will be joining the business at an exciting time, following a strong year with several high-profile contract wins and significant growth planned for the years ahead.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing QHSE policies and procedures including the creation and maintenance of systems for managing QHSE risks and they align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Promoting and supporting the identification of potential risks/hazards, evaluating their severity, and implementing control measures to mitigate them
- Supporting the preparation of risk assessments
- Scheduling and carrying out both internal and external auditing of company and 3rd party systems
- Addressing non-conformances, investigating accidents/incidents and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence
- Developing and leading safety and quality initiatives
- Ensuring that all employees are adequately trained on QHSE procedures, regulations, and best practices
- Monitoring and reporting QHSE performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), data analysis, and reporting on QHSE performance to management
- Liaising with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate records of QHSE-related activities, procedures, and training
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in QHSE, have a strong knowledge of ISO Standards including 9001, 14001, and 45001. Candidates must hold a valid NEBOSH certificate and demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
