Engage Talent Partners are working with our client to source and recruit a QHSE Manager.
Our client operates within the oil & gas, subsea, and defence sectors and is experiencing significant growth. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business at a pivotal stage and play a key role in supporting continued growth and development.
In this role, you will work closely with the workforce, customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to improve systems, develop procedures, and drive continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the QHSE function and develop a consistent approach across the business
- Lead and improve quality processes, supporting both QA and QC activities
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) through investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and close-out
- Lead internal audits and support external/customer audits
- Review, update, and implement policies, procedures, and risk assessments
- Work closely with engineering, workshop, and operational teams to improve standards
- Support ongoing continuous improvement initiatives
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Manage and develop the Quality team
- Support occasional site visits where required
The successful candidate will be an experienced QHSE Manager with a strong understanding of quality management systems and a knowledge of Electrical/Electronic processes. You will hold your NEBOSH Certificate and be a proactive individual who is comfortable taking ownership and driving improvements across the business.
It would be advantageous to hold an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification and have previous experience within a QC environment.
