Engage Talent Partners are working with our client to recruit a Stores Person to support the wider stores team based in Aberdeen.
Our client has global reach and are undergrowing significant growth, offering excellent opportunities for development, training and progression. You will be responsible for asset management, mobilisations, equipment return and maintenance of the stores and yard area.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with workshop duties including mobilisation/demobilisation and equipment to standards and procedures set out by the business.
- Assist with general yard and stores duties including supporting the management of internal movements of materials and stock in accordance with the business.
- To assist with the safe and efficient warehouse operation to meet internal customer requirements, ensuring full control of visibility of materials and equipment.
- Support other departments as and when required, this may include manual handling, cleaning, assembly/disassembly of tools and general labouring.
- Ensure the work vehicles are always kept tidy and well maintained.
- To ensure deliveries and collections are undertaken in a timely and safe manner to meet both internal and external customer expectations.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a workshop/stores environment, a knowledge of warehouse operations and a strong understand and practice of health and safety. Applicants should be enthusiastic and excellent communicators.
