Engage Talent Partners are supporting an Aberdeen-based engineering organisation in recruiting a Trainee Electronics / Equipment Technician to join their expanding technical workshop team.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with a technical qualification or early-stage workshop experience to develop practical skills working with specialist equipment used across offshore, marine and renewable energy projects.
You will work alongside experienced technicians supporting the preparation, inspection and testing of equipment prior to deployment to client operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with preparation and function testing of equipment
- Supporting inspection and documentation of returned equipment
- Learning to carry out cable integrity checks and basic configuration tasks
- Supporting mobilisation and demobilisation activities
- Assisting with equipment tracking and workshop logistics
- Working with senior technicians to diagnose and resolve faults
