In this role, you will be responsible for the manufacture and testing of electro-mechanical and electronic assemblies, assembly of systems, sub-components and panel wiring, testing and fault-finding from circuit board to component level, and the generation of technical reports. You will also be responsible for ensuring products are built and tested. You will work within the wider Product and Technology team and report directly to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and test electro-mechanical and electronic assemblies.
• Understand and interpret electrical wiring diagrams.
• Assemble systems, sub-components, and panel wiring.
• Use oscilloscopes and other electronics test equipment.
• Test, fault-find, and repair basic Printed Circuit Boards to component level.
• Assemble, wire, test, and fault-find modules at system level.
• Assemble and inspect underwater pressure vessel seals and connectors.
• Generate technical reports on faulty and damaged items.
• Undertake light mechanical assembly.

As part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for developing mechanical designs for offshore and subsea products and validating those designs using time-domain hydrodynamic analysis tools, with a strong emphasis on OrcaFlex (or equivalent software).You will work closely with project engineers, proposals, production and suppliers, supporting work from concept development through detailed design, analysis, documentation and manufacture.

• Design and develop mechanical offshore products from concept through to production
• Build, run and interpret hydrodynamic analysis models using OrcaFlex (or Flexcom)
