<p data-end="3183" data-start="2882">You will hold a degree in Mechanical, Structural, Naval Architecture or a related engineering discipline and have strong experience applying OrcaFlex or equivalent software to the analysis of offshore systems such as cables, flexible risers, moorings, installation configurations or subsea structures. You will be comfortable working at a system level, understanding how dynamic behaviour influences engineering decisions and product performance in real offshore environments. A background in contributing to modelling strategy, reviewing analysis work or supporting less experienced engineers would be advantageous. Experience with CAD (Inventor preferred), fatigue assessment approaches and installation-stage modelling would also be beneficial but are not essential.</p>

<p>The client, who is a food production client, based in Peterhead, is looking to expand their team as they go through an exciting period of expansion. You&rsquo;ll work alongside skilled engineers and take ownership of a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance tasks across the production environment..&nbsp;</p>

<p>Key responsibilities&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
	<li>Delivering planned and reactive maintenance across machinery, equipment, services, and facilities, including diagnostics and repairs.</li>
	<li>Supporting the ongoing Preventative Maintenance Programme.</li>
	<li>Assisting with process and equipment improvements to boost efficiency and reliability.</li>
	<li>Taking part in new installations and bespoke project work.</li>
	<li>Contributing actively to Health &amp; Safety initiatives and driving continuous improvement in workplace standards.</li>
	<li>Keeping clear communication with both the Production floor and Management regarding equipment performance and timelines.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>

<p data-end="1246" data-start="967">We&rsquo;d like to hear from time-served engineers with a solid mechanical background. Strong skills in electrical fault finding, mechanical maintenance and repair are essential. Ideally, you&rsquo;ll hold an HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.</p>
